Accessing Hwb and Google Classroom

Pupils at Ysgol Nantgwyn use their Hwb username and password to access their emails and Google Classroom. The steps below outline how to access Hwb and Google Classroom. If you need a reminder of your username and password, please see your IT teacher/form tutor.

There are lots of Hwb tutorials available on the Hwb website. If you are stuck, simply search in the searcher at the top of the screen. Search criteria such as "How to access Google Classroom" will return guidance and video clips on how to perform log-in and gain access.

1. Visit Hwb.gov.wales

Once you log in. You will then be able to access your emails by clicking on the outlook icon. If your teacher has shared a link with you to your Google Classroom, you can proceed and gain access. 

Pupils can join classes set up by their teacher, see assignments on the To-do page, in the class stream, or in the class calendar and all class materials are automatically filed into Google Drive folders.
