How do we select our volunteers?
We are very keen to enlist parent volunteers, especially if you are able to commit to coming into school regularly (although all support is appreciated). If you would like to become a volunteer, please contact email@example.com to let us know what you would like come in and support and the days/times you might be available. We can contact you to discuss this further and arrange to send out an application pack.
Before anyone can volunteer to help at Ysgol Nantgwyn, you will have to undertake that we will arrange through the Local Authority and is part of the application pack If you would like further information on a DBS check, click here.
The 'Friends of Ysgol Nantgwyn' (Parent, Teacher Association)
'Friends of Ysgol Nantgwyn' is a group of parents, community members and school staff who volunteer together to raise funds for ‘extras’ for our pupils. As a charitable organisation we support our school through a variety of fund-raising activities during the course of the year aiming to run events that appeal to all members of our school community. All proceeds are donated to our school to help support areas where extra funds are needed to enhance our student’s experience and opportunity.
If you would like to join the team, find out more about what we do, or put forward a fundraising idea, please email Nikki Jones, Chair firstname.lastname@example.org.
